One of Tanzania's most stunning wildlife regions, Lake Manyara National Park is located at the foot of the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley and features a small but enormous soda lake. It is included in a superb safari package to Tanzania that will take you there. The park's size and notoriety for its tree-climbing lions make it ideal for a single day of wildlife viewing. The Serengeti National Park, a vast wilderness covering 14,500 square kilometers, is another stop on this safari vacation. Here, every day provides a new landscape and a new adventure. In addition, your African safari vacation will take you to Tanzania's Ngorongoro Crater and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is home to one of the densest populations of predators and one of the largest densities of game and African carnivores. Here, you may see an incredible display of African wildlife in a self-contained environment packed with creatures. Your African safari vacation will also take you to Tarangire National Park, which has Tanzania's second-highest concentration of game after the Ngorongoro Crater, but is less crowded, undeveloped, and has a raw, untidy beauty.

Meet our professional tour guide/driver in Moshi/Arusha town, who will deliver a short safari briefing, after which, we travel to the Lake Manyara National Park. We arrive in time for lunch. After lunch we head into the Lake Manyara National Park. This impressive park is one of Tanzania's most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara's famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.
After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.
After breakfast you will commence your drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti, taking approximately 4 hours. Serengeti is home to millions of wildebeest during the migration and over the huge flat plains, you are likely to find lions, cheetah, leopards, hyenas,s, and many other small predators. Your guide will choose the best wildlife viewing locations for the time of year. Spend time at the hippo pool, watching these enormous animals laze about in the cool water alongside the crocodiles, watch a lion stalking its prey, or be staggered by the scale of the great wildebeest migration. The journey from wide, open plains to the kopjes, volcanic rocky outcrops that provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide you with the ultimate in-game viewing.
In the morning after breakfast you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and after registration you will descend to the Crater Floor. The Ngorongoro caldera is the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. At approximately 20 kilometers across and 600 meters deep, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breath-taking natural wonder. Ngorongoro Crater is unique in that almost all the wildlife lives within the crater walls; hence you have the opportunity to find the game easily. You’ll want to wake early to make the most of your day exploring the crater, where rhino, in particular, can be seen regularly, as well as the pride of lion and other predators like the cheetah.
After breakfast we depart for the Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings. After a picnic lunch we continue with game drive and in the late afternoon we drive back to your hotel in Arusha/Moshi town
